"FUNDAMENTALLY TRANSFORM AMERICA"

Well tommorow is the big day, the day that Obama says he is to "Fundamentally Transform America".  I don't know about you, but I think America is "fundamentally" OK, and I don't think it needs to be "transformed". Yes, sure, it could use a few adjustments, but certainly not a complete transformation. And we all know what kind of transformation he is talking about, as he's told us over and over, via gaffs or when he has a breif moment of truthfullness. But what are to be the primary changes this transformation is to bring about? Higher unemployment, via raising taxes on businesses, regardless of what he says, this is the only possible outcome of raising the taxes on those businesses. Demoralizing the US Military, by way of having a Commander in Chief (CINC) that NONE of the troops can respect. How could they possibly have any respect for a man who stands against everything they stand for. He wants to let the deaths of all their fellow soldiers, sailors and airmen who have fallen in combat in Iraq be for nothing. How can they respect a man who could not qualify for a top secret clearance (because of his admitted prior drug usage) and possibly his associations. Also, there is NO, NO, NO, possible way he can hope to fund even half of the handouts and socialist initiatives he plans to implement. His economic plans are only going to hurt the lower and middle class workers because of the job loss.. Obama is surely NOT the Change this GREAT country of ours needs. I can not even imagine the irrepairable damage we will be subjected to because of an Obama presidency. So please Vote tommorow, for the sake of keeping our government fundamentally sound.

The End of America as We Know It and The Beginning of the "REPO" Government

I have spent part of the weekend reading a book called "FDR's Folly" or "How Roosevelt and the New Deal prolonged the Great Depression".  I knew that most of FDR's policies were based on socialist and Marxist principles, but I really had know idea how far along that road that his administration went. Also surprising was how many of his stupid mistakes Obama wants to copy. FDR and his administration blamed wall street greed for the stock market crash of '29, so he decided to almost triple the amount of taxes on businesses along with instituting social security. So of course more businesses closed and huge numbers of jobs were lost. Canada had 0 bank closures, because they were mostly large banks and branches of large banks. But the stupid Glass Speigle act caused our banks to not also be investment and insurance houses, so most of our banks folded. Goverment took over agriculture, energy, housing (by creating the FHA), etc.... He more than tripled the size of government. He also made it illegal for businesses to interfere with Unions. How FDR promoted unionizing almost every industry in the country, he instituted minimum wage acts. So along with all the taxes he put on businesses, he had unions striking for more benefits and higher wages. So, more jobs were lost and more businesses closed. His administration actually sent representatives to the Soviet Union to study their "Utopian Society" and found it to be wonderful with all the nationalizing of the country, the only problem was that there was "some corruption in positions of power" and also they did have some issues with "some of the lack of civil liberties",  but thought that maybe that might be neccessary to quell the populus in times of shortages. All in all they thought that the form of government had a great many virtues that could help to "close the gap between the haves and the have nots".  Also, the terms "spreading the wealth" and "redistribution of wealth" were both thrown around by not only those opposing socialist ideals, but even by it's advocates. Finally, however the supreme court decreed that many of his plans were unconstitutional. So he would try to intitute many of them via executive order and the supreme court would state that the constitution did not authorize the POTUS to meddle in the areas which he was trying to manipulate. He actually had quite a few admitted "socialist" in charge of many areas of government. Luckilly many of FDR's socialist/nationalizing of many private sectors, were eventually overturned, but a great many more are still in place. The dept. of Agriculture still pays farmers to not farm so much of their lands, FHA, Federal Reserve Chairman, and on and on. There had been a similar market correction in the early 20's when the government kept it's nose out of wall street and things corrected themselves in less than a year. FDR made it last over a decade, and who knows how long if it hadn't been for WWII.
Do we really want to let our country go down that dangerous road again? I really hope not. Do we want to stretch this mess out for that long? Do we want to continue to buy all our oil from those who would do us harm until Obama creates all these pie in the sky energy projects. Esp. with nuclear energy, he wants to find the "perfect" way to dispose of nuclear waste, before we create any new power plants. Our existing disposal sites and proceedures are as good as any in the world. Obama does, NOW, say that he is willing to "look into" offshore drilling. Anyway, the idea of a "REPO" (REid, Pelosi, Obama) government, without any opposition can do massive irrepairable damage to our country and our way of life in just one term, not to mention the idiots they will put on the supreme court. Please, everyone do whatever you can to help stop the REPO government.
May God truly Bless America and those of us who really love America and our men and women in uniform risking everything to protect our freedoms.  Let's keep America the way they left it or even better. Let's not let them return to widespread Socialism under the evil REPO government, our government is huge enough.
