This year more than ever we need to observe this day and use it to educate people MORE THAN EVER! I know the Oath Keepers are having a rally "on the green", but many of us can't do that this year because of budgets, etc... But what everyone who loves our country, the Constitution, and our History can do is educate OUR OWN KIDS about that great history. Talk to them about what it means to be a true patriot, sit down with them and watch Mel Gibson's "The Patriot" (it's one of my all time favorites, but I'm probably biased being from SC until I joined the Army and I have been to most of those battle grounds) or watch the History Channel that day, as I am sure they will feature something about the Battle of Lexington and Concord. Go over your family tree and talk about your own ancestors who fought in the American Revolution, or if you are from another country originally, talk about some war that your ancestors fought in defending what they knew in thier hearts was the right thing to do. Discuss even how your grandfathers or dads fought in WWI, WWII, Korea, Viet Nam etc... defending our freedoms that this administration is trying to take away and how the Declaration of Independence that those original 13 colonies signed makes it our obligation to stop the tyranny of any government who would take our freedoms away ----at all costs, whatever that cost mighr be. Educate your kids people, this is your responsibility FIRST AND FOREMOST!!!! Spend time with them on the 19th, it's a Sunday, so after Church Service do something with them to show how much the Freedom that our forefathers fought and died for means to you!!!! Read the Declaration of Ind. out loud to the family before you say grace at Sunday dinner. Keep your teenager home Sunday Evening and watch "The Patriot" or the "John Adams" HBO series. JUST DO IT, if you don't you are as bad as the liberals that you bit_h about.
